Project description
The City of Klanjec is situated in the western part of Krapinsko- Zagorska county, on the border with Slovenia. In the Klanjec area, except main gasline and power transmission, other infrastructual lines have local meaning.
In the past few years the City has invested a lot in development of all the neccassary infrastructure and today the only bigger problem is public drainage and modernization of public lighting with the purpose of decreasing energy consumption and elimination of light pollution.
Thereby the City goverment at the beggining of 2008. initiated the project of modernization of public lighting in the wider city area in order to accomplish all the set forth affects.
The project is coordinated by the Managing department of the city of Klanjec along with professional and consultative help of North-West Croatia Regional Energy Agency.
For the project implementation, co-financing from the Environment Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund will be requested.
